Hammrick's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Hammrick's Story...
Meet this handsome fella! Although he looks like he's up to no good, Hammrick is a total sweetheart! He is incredibly well-mannered, loves going on walks and already knows "sit." Hammrick has some Shepherd heritage and currently weighs 40 pounds. At 1 1/2 years old, he's full-grown!

Hammrick would make an excellent companion for just about anyone. He's a laid-back boy with the manners of a gentleman. Hammrick is also very tolerant of other dogs, but would prefer an equally calm dog if he had a companion. He becomes very nervous when dogs jump on him, so a puppy may not be the best match. Please note that Hammrick is heartworm positive. His treatment is included in the adoption fee, however, he will need some extra TLC.

Hammrick has been neutered and is current on all of his vaccinations. If this super happy boy sounds like your perfect match, come meet Hammrick today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hammrick, a Germantown Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Germantown, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Germantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Germantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Germantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Germantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
