Banks's Story...
Hello. My name is Banks. I am a 3 ½ years old and 21 lbs Coton De Tular. I was a CDR dog when I was only a puppy. Then I got adopted. My Mommy loved me soooo much. But now, do to challenging circumstances, she can no longer take care of me. That is where CDR comes back into the picture. They are going to find me a good home.
My foster mom says that I am a sweet, little boy. I get along with other dogs, and ignore the cat in her house. It takes me some time to get warmed up to new people. She says that I would do better in a home with an older person or couple. She also says that I would do ok with grandchildren coming to visit, but I could not handle living with children. Loud noises and quick movements make me nervous. I am housebroken and crate trained. I like to spend time with my person, play with a ball, and sit with my person as they are watching tv or on the computer.
If you think you would have a good home for me, please contact Chicagoland Dog Rescue as soon as possible. Hope to see you real soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Banks, a Schaumburg Coton de Tulear dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coton de Tulear for sale in Schaumburg, or seeking a Coton de Tulear dog from a breeder in Schaumburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Schaumburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Schaumburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coton de Tulear breeders who help with Coton de Tulear rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Schaumburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
