Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marley is a 1.5 year old spayed female Great Pyr mix who needs a foster or adoptive home. She is very much a puppy and loves to play with toys. She loves attention and will follow you around to be near you. She is crate trained and is crated when her foster family is out and at night. She is house trained. Marley feels it her duty to keep your yard free of squirrels and other critters. Marley has had some obedience training, but would benefit from completing the training. She does walk on leash, but does need to learn better leash manners. Marley will bark to let you know she has heard or seen something, but does not bark incessantly. Marley is more of a “pocket” size for a Pyr mix at 54 #’s. Marley would be a great dog for a young active family with a secure, visibly fenced yard. She gets along with most cats and other dogs and would love another young, active dog in the house to play with her. She loves children and plays well with them, but is still learning her manners regarding jumping up when she’s excited. She is a real gem and has beautiful markings!
An adoption application, site visit and an adoption fee are required to adopt Marley. We do not typically adopt our dogs to unfenced farms as we rarely receive livestock guardian Pyrs into Rescue. With very few exceptions, a visible, securely fenced yard is required to adopt from NSGPR.
