Bella's Story...
Name: Bella
Breed: Shepherd mix
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Female

Bella is a 2 year old, 55 pound female Shepherd mix, must be mixed with something that Retrieves because this girl will fetch the ball all day if given the chance. She is a very friendly, outgoing dog, does great with kids and other dogs and sort of adapts herself to the setting she is in. She is very smart and loves to learn, has a medium energy level. Bella has not been around cats so we don't know how she does, although she does not show a strong prey drive towards smaller animals when out walking in the woods. She is house trained with a routine and crated for the workday. Bella would love a home with a yard and/or someone to walk her daily, she is used to some land and some space to move so although she's not a barker and well mannered, she wouldn't be happy in an apartment.

Requirements: No special requirements

You can email with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bella, a Minneapolis Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
