Charlie Brown's Story...
Charlie Brown wandered into a country home in early June. The family looked everywhere for his owners, for they thought someone must be missing this good dog. After finding no owners, they decided to take care of him as they looked for a new home for him. Charlie Brown is great with people, with cats, and with other dogs. His foster family has had him neutered and brought his shots up to date. They think he is about 2 years old and say he weighs about 60 pounds. They already have two large dogs, so they need to find Charlie Brown a new home with a family who will love him and give him the life he deserves. What a great new family member Charlie Brown would be! Don't miss a chance to add him to your household!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie Brown, a Ripley Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Ripley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Ripley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ripley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ripley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ripley paves the way for another one to be saved.
