Sweet Lucy was abandoned in a cemetery and we are so thankful to the foster mom who rescued her. Lucy is so so sweet but she's a little bit shy and will do best in a home that will be patient while she gets used to her new surroundings. She is very shy but wants to love and be loved. She just needs to gain some self confidence and know that she is secure, safe, loved and welcomed. Like so many dogs in West TN, she has probably been run off from a lot of places while she looked for food and love. Once she knows that everything is okay and that she is a member of the family, there will likely be no dog that will ever love you more!!
This dog will be ready to leave our care in time for our Triple Header event weekend! First, CPR will be with North Shore Animal League at Petland in Southbury, CT Friday, August 7th from 2pm-6pm. On Saturday, August 8th CPR will be hosting their 4th Annual CPR Reunion and adoption event at their adoption center in Southbury, CT from 11am-3pm. Lastly, on Sunday, August 9th CPR will be having an open house at their adoption center in Southbury, CT from 10:30am-1:30pm. PRE-APPROVAL is REQUIRED to bring home a pup from Sunday's event. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event. You can apply while you are there, but the application will not be processed the same day. Come meet our pups and find your forever friend!
This dog is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $375 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368.
If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between noon and 2pm. An additional $75 fee will be added for puppies picked up from our Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. MA residents are no longer allowed to adopt from our adoption center or our adoption events due to MA regs. All MA adoptions must be finalized prior to the puppy leaving our care in TN.
