Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sassy, an Australian Shepherd mix, approximately 18 months old. Sassy was rescued from a rural shelter and she has been living in a foster home since mid-March. Sassy’s foster family consists of two other dogs, one male and one female. She has not been exposed to cats, but based on her strong prey drive and love for chasing squirrels, a home with a cat is not recommended. Sassy is smart, energetic and, well, sassy. She loves to play fetch, chew her bones and toys, and go for walks every day. She also loves to ride in the car. She is house broken, knows how to use dog doors, and is crate trained. She has nice house manners and she knows a few basic commands, more importantly she is an eager and quick learner. Since she is an energetic herding dog, a house with small children is not recommended at this time. Sassy likes other dogs but sheseems to like people the most. She’s sweet and loving but not a lap dog. She has a strong personality and can be bossy at times, so she needs a home with a strong leader who is willing to focus time and energy on her.
