Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB January 1, 2014
Bettina is an intelligent high-energy kitty. Sleek and soft, her black coat turns brown in the sunlight. She has been a diligent Mamma to her 4 kittens, protective and instructive and, as she is young herself, happy to play with her kits when she's not busy taking care of them.
This beauty is very very vocal, and will have lots to say. Because of her high energy, she would do well to have a big house to run in, with a stimulating environment and a buddy to play with.
Bettina is good with her claws, will never injure you on purpose, but she has a long reach, so accidents can happen. She is learning to tolerate nail clips, but patience is still required. She will use her teeth to guide your hand to more pets or play, but her drop response is as quick as she is; let your hand go slack and she'll lick it all better.
Though not fully comfortable with humans, she is well on her way. She will tolerate being picked up for a hug and a quick sit on a lap; more shaping will only help her become more comfortable.
Bettina is a delight, full of purrs and happy that humans gave her a safe place to mother her kittens. She's scratching box and post trained and responds well to direction, and she has a perfect litter box record. All she needs is a forever home with humans who have some experience shaping cats and where she can run and play. Did we say she's very very vocal?
