Kendra's Story...
This beautiful girl is Kendra. Her and her brother, Kruse, were found running in and out of traffic by a nice lady who then contacted me about taking them. Kendra looks to be part German Shorthaired Pointer or maybe even full GSP. Whatever she is- she is beautiful and super sweet. She is very bonded with her brother but they will also do fine adopted separately. Kendra currently weighs only about 21 pounds and is estimated to be 5 to 6 months old. She is spayed, heartworm negative and on preventative, wormed several times with 2 different wormers and on flea/tick prevention. She is truly a wonderful doggy and just a little shy but getting out of it quickly. Kendra is located in ARKANSAS but we have transport that comes to the Northeast weekly to deliver adopted rescue doggies. For more info on this sweet girl- email Sandy at vshutchins@gmail.com and thank you for considering adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kendra, a Trenton German Shorthaired Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer for sale in Trenton, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer puppy from a breeder in Trenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Trenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Trenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Trenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
