Suki is a delightful, little beagle girl who like Peter Pan, doesn’t ever want to grow up! At 2 years old, she has the energy and playfulness of a puppy. She is a slender 22 pounds and 14 inches tall. After nursing her last litter of puppies, she gained a few pounds. She is looking great! She plays hard, so it will be awhile before she starts looking round and plump like a self respecting beagle!
Suki is house broken with the use of a dog door and sleeps through the night on a dog bed in the master bedroom. She will need to be crated if left alone for long periods of time. Like a puppy, Suki still likes to get into things and will chew on interesting items that she finds. Usually, Suki just likes to steal objects and decorate the yard with them! She loves to play with the beagles in her foster pack. She can run faster than the big boys and she takes great delight in leading a howling pack of boys around the yard! She is an alpha dog in the making. She can be territorial about her space, but is getting better about sharing. Suki has become quite the escape artist, so she will need a family experienced with beagles who have a very secure yard!
Suki is sweet and loving when she is ready for a cuddle. She will need an active family who will give her lots of exercise. She does need canine companionship to keep her busy and worn out each day.
