My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calla came from a back yard breeder in FL. She emailed for help saying she had sold this girl as a puppy 2 years ago to a couple. The man was away working for the military and when he came home he was handed divorce papers and found Calla locked in the garage hairless and emaciated. She had horrific Demodex mange most likely from stress. The Demodex was so bad it was in her stool. She also had a nasty yeast infection,open oozing postulates and a double ear infection. She remained at the vet for nearly a month being monitored until she was stable enough to go to a foster home in Mississippi where she is thriving and winning her battle with mange. She is 2 years old and great with people,dogs and cats. She loves to fetch and would love a fenced yard with other dogs.
