Sassy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Sassy's Story...
Sassy is a wonderful 1 year old companion. She is fully grown at about 35 pounds. Sassy was rescued from a hoarding situation so she needs a very special home, one that is willing to work with her on her shyness. She has done very well in her foster home but needs to continue the work to become the wonderful baby that she can be. She will need someone very patient and understanding. She would do best in a home with children over the age of 10. She is wonderful with other dogs and would do best in a household that currently has another canine. She loves to play outside but needs a home with a fenced in yard. She loves to swim as well and is the best cuddler once she feel comfortable! She has tons of love to give the right family.

***MUST HAVE A FENCED IN YARD***

Sassy's adoption fee is $150. She is currently in a foster home in Massachusetts. All AAA dogs are up to date on all vaccinations, spayed or neutered, on heart worm preventative, and microchipped. Please fill out an application at http://acadianaanimalaid.org/adopt/dog-adoption/application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sassy, a Glastonbury Great Pyrenees/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees/Collie for sale in Glastonbury, or seeking a Great Pyrenees/Collie dog from a breeder in Glastonbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Glastonbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Glastonbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees/Collie breeders who help with Great Pyrenees/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Glastonbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
