Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Texas is just precious. She looks like a mini chihuahua/wire haired terrier mix. She is approx 14 weeks old as of June 27, 2015 and weighs 4.2 lbs. She is going to be small breed dog. She is very active and loves to charge out into the yard to run and play with her siblings. She has a very sweet personality and a little shy and timid at first. She loves toys and will need some house and leash training. She sleeps in her doggie bed with her buddies and is just a sweetheart. Because she is so small she will need a home with gentle children over 10 years old.
If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email. Also, The state of MA does not allow adoptions of dogs that are heart worm positive. We are required to do a foster to adopt until the dog tests heart worm negative, usually in 4-6 months after treatment.
