Frances- MEET HER's Info...

Frances- MEET HER's Story...
Frances was found abandoned on the streets as a puppy. We scooped her up and she had an amazing foster home in Texas, but is now in foster care in Norwalk, CT. Frances is a beautiful gold/red color - very sweet and affectionate. She loves to come put her front paws in your lap for a hug and lots of ear rubs. She sneaks gentle kisses. Frances also has the most unusual tail...it makes one complete circle and is always wagging!

Frances loves to play. She likes to be outside, so would enjoy going to dog parks, or walks...probably would love trails and hiking.

She definitely has heeler, as she loves to herd, and loves kids..but probably kids age 10 or older. We are working on her manners, in that she gently jumps up, and she is getting better, is smart and a good listener!!

She uses the doggie door and we haven't had an accident in the house in quite a while. She loves other dogs and seems to get along with any dog we have brought in the house. They especially love little dogs who they play with very gently .

We think she will be in the 45-55 lb range..Frances is 40lbs at 9/151/15

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frances- MEET HER, a Norwalk Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Blue Heeler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
