My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cece is a hairy hairless Chinese Crested with one blue eye and one brown. She has adjusted easily to four foster sisters but takes a bit to warm up to new humans. She has not been tested with cats. When settled in, she is true to her breed, playful and affectionate, but often retires to “her” spot on the sofa. She is 90% housebroken if kept on a regular feeding schedule. She rides well in the car and is learning to walk on a leash. She does fine with respectful children. Cece’s forever home needs a fenced yard, however small, because she is not yet accustomed to relieving herself on a leash. She probably is not suitable for condo or apartment living as her bark is shrill. Cece would be very happy being an only dog since she doesn’t seem interested in being part of a pack.

Our adoption process includes an application, personal and vet reference checks, and a home visit. We do not ship dogs under any circumstances.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check our front page for the dates of our next Pet Parade. Appointments outside of Pet Parade to visit our dogs are only available after an application has been filled out, and processing has begun.
