Here's the most handsome GSD- Boxer mix to ever escape the south! Best brindle boy Karev, is one lucky dog to have ventured into his foster mom’ neighborhood in metropolitan Atlanta. Karev had been wandering the streets for weeks before his foster mom discovered him and opened her heart and home. Most likely dumped there by crappy first owners, Karev made himself at home with her four other dogs and just started playing! Foster mom Jen was not able to keep him with so many others (!) so Washington State will luck out as that is where he is headed and his new forever home! Karev is an adorable mix of shepherd, boxer and maybe lab? He weighs 43lbs and is a little over a year old. Extremely playful and quite mature for his age, Karev is great with other dogs and even cats. Karev is extremely calm and well-behaved and already has good manners. He loves being outdoors and would really enjoy a running or walking partner and can’t wait to meet the beach and the mountains. Karev is good in the house and in his crate and he is totally house trained. He has a good dog play style- submissive and friendly. But he is perfectly happy to be the only dog in the house too. Karev is good with children and has frequently been around a 1 and 5 year old. He loves attention and is very affectionate and loveable! His foster mom says he loves to sleep on the bed- though we don’t recommend that! He is getting good on a leash, and is working on all his basic commands. He has GSD smarts and boxer friendliness. He learns quickly and is anxious to please! He has no food or toy aggression at all and rides very well in the car in or out of his crate. Karev would love it if he could go to day care or had an adopter who works from home. He loves to be with people and is very social with people and dogs! Karev is ready for love and adventure and just lots of “Karev” cuddle time! This gorgeous boy is neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated. He’ll be headed out of Georgia on transport mid-July and will be ready to meet you as soon as he arrives!
