Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Teddy is a 8-10 year old pure bred Yorkshire terrier who weighs about 3-4 lbs. This darling Senior guy was found as a stray. He is sweet, trusting, delicate and affectionate; he obviously had a home where he was loved. He is low energy and spends a lot of time napping close to his person. He gets along fine with other dogs and cats in his foster home and is not scared or anxious at all around other animals - even much larger ones. His confidence is increasing by the day. Teddy really needs someone who can be around him much of the time as he suffers from separation anxiety. He will cry if left alone in his crate. Someone who can take this little guy to work and let him nap on the desk all day? Heaven. He is well mannered, although he's marking around the house and he needs some help with house training. He had an old fracture on his front leg which healed crooked but it does not seem to bother him. He also has a potential fracture in his tail and some issues with his back kneecaps. the vet is monitoring both these situations. He walks a little stiffly. This is not uncommon with senior dogs so doesn't necessarily indicate anything serious. Teddy had some dental extractions recently and has few teeth left but still enjoys his soft food. Teddy needs a gentle, delicate person who will respect his age and physical condition and make allowances for them. Although he gets along with kids we do not recommend him for a home with small kids because of his delicate condition.
