My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Clarice. I came to CASA from another shelter where I had been found after being tossed out on the roadside in a crate filled with days of my own waste and vomit. My true past is unknown, but I'm clearly on to better things now. I look like a whole new dog these days.

I am a sweat and gentle lady. I have charmed every single shelter caregiver and volunteer along the way. I love to go on walks and hang out with my people. I require an adult-only home and with no other dogs. I do ok with felines but I prefer them to be ok with me being around (i.e. stand there ground or ignore my existence). If you have any questions or would like to meet me please ask the shelter staff, they love talking about me :)

OTHER DOGS: Although Clarice can be near other dogs on-leash she does not seem to want to share a home or owner with one. She has had good interactions with another male dog of like-size so it is possible that "she" could choose one male dog to befriend.
