My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Imagine that you are hungry and scared. You had a home once, but somehow you got separated from it, and you can't find the people who used to put food out for you every day. You are getting weaker and feel ready to give up.

One day you find a door with an opening in it-- a cat door! You go inside the house, but instead of putting food down for you, the woman catches you in a trap and calls animal control to come get you.

The cage is cold metal, and a deafening din of barking dogs alerts you to run and hide. But there is no place to hide, so you cower at the back of the cage and try to make yourself disappear.

Such was the fate of Jason Heyward. Worse, he tested positive for FIV, which is actually not a big deal, but which made it much more difficult for him to secure a spot in rescue.

We could not turn away, and thanks to YOU, we did not have to.
You made it possible for us to save Jason... get him neutered and his wounds treated.

Now Jason is looking for a special person who will hold him tight and never let him get lost again. Could that person be you?
