Johnny's Story...
Johnny | Male | Domestic Short Hair |

Rescue Story: I came to Zoe's with my mom, Kodha.

Date of Birth: May 2015

Energy Level: High, because I'm still a kitten!

Size (adult): Medium

Good with Dogs? Yes, With proper introductions, I should be fine with dogs.
Good with Cats? Yes, With proper introductions, I should be fine with cats.
Good with Kids? Yes, With proper training, I should be great with kids.

Critter Confessions: I confess nothing! Well, maybe just check back later. Or you can come meet me at Tailblazers South and I will tell you all of my secrets. I am the one with the darkest stripes on my head.

About my Behaviour: I'm a young kitten, so of course I need someone who's up for having an energetic, lawless furball in their home. I need attention, and I need boundaries. To help wear me out, perhaps you might want another kitten? Maybe one of my siblings?

How’s my Health? I will be neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated before going to my forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Johnny, a Edmonton Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
