Big Boy's Story...
Hello! They call me Big Boy, and they say I'm what they call 'big-boned'. I am a Chihuahua and I'm 7 years old. I am very affectionate and love people. I don't bark very much at all, it's usually only for food ;) I don't like going to the vet, or the groomer when they touch my feet. My foster mom is working on that with me. I love to be pet and when I'm out I love meeting people. I need to be walked more often so that I can regain my figure, and keep healthy so I'd love to find a forever home with someone who lies to walk too. I'm good with other dogs and I don't seem to mind cats either. I have all of my vaccines, I just had a dental, I have a microchip, and I am current on my flea and heartworm preventive. I come with a free vet visit and 30 days of pet insurance. I also come with an adoption kit from Petsmart with a free bag of food, and coupons for supplies. My adoption donation is $200.00. Please e-mail petadopt@hotmail.com for an application for me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Big Boy, a Palm Harbor Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Palm Harbor, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Palm Harbor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palm Harbor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palm Harbor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palm Harbor paves the way for another one to be saved.
