Benny's Story...
I'm Benny! I was born with deformities but my foster mom says I don't seem to notice. My front legs are bent and twisted and my paw pads developed on the tops of my feet. If you want to look at some videos of how I move around check out: www.facebook.com/animalhopeandwellness
There's a few videos where you can see that even though it looks like I would have a hard time I actually get around really great! As long as I have soft surfaces I can run around without any discomfort. I love playing with other dogs and toys are my favorite! I'm quite hyper.

As of now the vet says a surgery would only cause me a long and painful recovery which seems pointless considering It might not work and I'm so happy right now. Although, considering the way I have to walk and run on the wrong bones it's almost a guarantee that one day I will have arthritis or joint issues. If one day I need a wheelchair to make me comfortable The Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation would love to help the adopters get me what I need.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Benny, a Studio City Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Studio City, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Studio City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Studio City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Studio City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Studio City paves the way for another one to be saved.
