Freckles's Story...
Freckles is a sweet, affectionate boy looking for a loving forever home. To help Freckles bond and settle in to his new home, he will need to be signed up for positive reward based obedience classes before his adoption can be finalized. This lovely boy would love to live with another playful dog who can handle his happy, goofy play-style. A confident cat who can stand up for itself and teach Freckles that kitties are not for chasing. Respectful children over 6 who can handle his playful energy, as well as give him some time to settle in to his new home, would be all right. Freckles is an active boy who would love long daily walks or jogs every single day to stay happy. He would make a great running partner and would love to go camping and hiking with you. Freckles is a guy you can count on to be up for all the adventures, as long as he is with his human! If you think Freckles would be a good fit for your family, please bring an adoption application to the front desk so you can meet him!

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
