Sheldon, a neutered male mastiff mix, is seeking a long-term, committed relationship.
Sheldon Enjoys:
Long walks on the beach/in the neighborhood/park/woods, car rides, snacks, cuddles and hugs, naps, other big nice dogs, snacks, kids, toys, couch-time, and snacks.
Sheldon Dislikes:
Cats (and other small animals) and Politics
Sheldon is a big ol’ teddybear of a dog who wants to take a walk and then binge watch something on Netflix with his people. He likes other dogs, but prefers a slow, gradual introduction (YLDR is happy to guide this!), given proper introductions Sheldon can get along with a wide-range of dog personalities (he lives with 3 very different doggos in his foster home and is polite to everyone), but too much too fast can put him off.
Sheldon’s couch potato game is STRONG but he also occasionally really enjoys a quality game of tug and some wrestling, but the only thing he’ll catch is snacks.
Sheldon has an innate urge to roam: he LOVES several walks a week to see the sights and smell the smells- and if you don’t take him he may take himself! Sheldon needs either leash-walks only or a yard with a sturdy fence, secure all the way to the ground.
Sheldon is crate and house trained, walks politely on the leash (though occasionally needs reminders that he’s not leading), and is SO sweet to the tiny human (3 year old) in his foster home. He is neutered, up to date on all his preventatives and vaccines, and microchipped.
Not enough good things can be said about Sheldon.
Sheldon is a male mastiff mix born ~June 2013 and weighs 85 pounds. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
