Carmen's Story...
Carmen is named after the pretty, wild little gypsy in the opera by the same name. She is so fun, so lively, so darned pretty. Carmen will be ready to go to a new home around the end of July. You can adopt this kitten now, and take her home after she has recovered from her spay at 12 weeks of age. She is currently being cared for by a foster, receiving wormings, flea treatments, and vaccinations when due. When she is old enough, she will be spayed and tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. A $50 down payment will hold her for you. If for any reason she can not be adopted or you change your mind, this down payment can be transferred to another available kitten or be considered a tax deductible donation to Columbus Pet Rescue.
Please fill out an application at www.columbuspetrescue.com today.
Adoption fee $125

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carmen, a Columbus Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
