Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DUTCHESS is a beautiful girl who joined Blues City because her owner had a stroke and can no longer care for her. Her owner loved her very much and this is evident through DUTCHESS's personality. She is friendly and sweet with dogs, cats, AND children. She has wonderful manners for her age which makes her a joy to be around. She is the kind of dog you can take anywhere and she is always happy to join. DUTCHESS is young enough to bring puppy cuteness and fun, but past the pottying everywhere and chewing phase of life. At 6 months old she is the ideal age to join her forever family!
DUTCHESS is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations.
Her $450 adoption fee includes interstate health certificate and transport to Knoxville.

All of our pets start their journey in Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted at which time they travel via transport to their new forever home. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com) and The Road Home Pet Transport for our Midwest adopters.
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Blues City is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
