My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

LuLu is a 4 year old Jack Russell mix. She was surrendered to the shelter because her family said they didn't have time for her. Lulu was an outdoor dog the majority of her life and came in heartworm positive. She has been treated, is healthy and ready for a forever family that will make her a house dog and include her in family activities. LuLu came in very nervous and scared. Since her arrival and stay in foster care she is blossoming into a social dog that loves to go for walks and enjoys being around people. This sweet girl is smart, learns quickly and loves to please. You will absolutely love Lulu. She has quickly become a shelter favorite. Since her stay in a foster home, Lulu is house trained and lived with another dog and kids and was fine with them.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
