Hi there! My name is Dante. I'm a purebred, 9 year old Powerpuff Chinese crested.
I was seized by the pound from my owner- along with 29 other dogs due to our living conditions and lack of proper care necessary for our well being. In fact, I was so matted and filthy that if the pound didn't already know what breed I am, I would have been unrecognizable.
I'm a really sweet boy and I am an ideal lap dog! I really do love sitting on laps, but I am not needy like a lot of other small dogs.
I get along well with other dogs and I'm a nice boy with people.
I have horrible teeth due to my age and my previous owners neglecting to get me a dental, so I will be going to the vet on July 9th and will come back July 17th so I can get fully vetted (the vet is pretty far away and will do several other dogs so vetting time and dates are non-negotiable).
I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER JUNE 30, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
