Andy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Andy's Story...
Andy is a four year old Poodle who is big for a miniature at around 25 pounds. He is a slightly anxious boy but not shy. He loves people, especially kids, likes other dogs and does well with dog savvy cats. He walks very well on a leash, is crate trained and housebroken. Andy will need regular grooming, the difference from the first picture to the second one is about two weeks. Andy is not a purse dog, he wants an active family with someone home most of the time. He loves to play fetch and will chase and retrieve the frisbee. Andy will need someone who will not "baby" him to help with his anxiety. He really is a great dog for kids, if not babies. If you are interested in Andy, please fill out our online application at: www.secondchancesalem.org His adoption fee is:$375.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andy, a Salem Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Salem, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
