Megan's Story...
Hello. My name is Megan. I was rescued because I was going to be put down because of my breed. Talk about discrimination! Well, I am as sweet and friendly as I can be. I have never bitten anyone and I never will. I love to run and romp with other dogs so I am quite active. I do like to sleep in, however. If you wake up early, I will get up long enough to go outside to do my business and then it's back to bed for me!. When we are not playing, I like to rest at your feet or curled up as close to you as possible. I am hard not to love, as I always have a smile for you and anyone I meet! I am spayed and up-to-date on my vaccinations. Do you have a place for a grinning and hopping girl like me?

Please contact my rescue mom for an appointment. You can email her at advocate4animals.inc@gmail.com or call her at 502-802-7266 and leave a message. Thank you for stopping by! I'd love to meet you!

P.S. My rescue mom says that because I weigh 65 lbs. and I am quite strong that I can only go to families that have children over 10 years old. Although I would not intentionally hurt them, sometimes I don't know my own strength when I play.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Megan, a Louisville Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Louisville, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Louisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Louisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Louisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Louisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
