My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is such a beautiful dog and with such a nice personality!! Rankin is appox 2 yrs old and 36 lbs and looks like a schnauzer/wire hair terrier mix. He is very quiet and laid back, and became attached to my hip the minute we brought him home. He loves being where you are. He gets along with all of the dogs even the pushy ones that get in his face - he just sits and looks at them. He is not one for playing with the other rescues yet he would prefer to lay at your feet and follow you wherever you go. He slept on the bedroom floor all night and never moved until he was let out in the morning so seems to be pretty well house trained and does will on a leash. He is a little undernourished so it looks like he may have been a stray for a while, and his coat needs some supplements. We have started him on some medicated baths and lipiderm for the skin and coat to get him looking healthier and his coat thicker. This is a really nice dog and will make a good companion for anyone
The total adoption cost of $475 includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration . The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. All our dogs are in foster care, there is no physical shelter. Some have not yet arrived in PA.
