My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Ella. I was named after Lizzy's dad's mom. I thought at first I was named after Ella Fitzgerald, because the peoples at the vet clinic teased me about singing to them all day.

So you're probably wondering why I was hanging out at the vet clinic. It all started at a race. I was wearing my pretty green coat, running like the wind when some other greyhound hip checked me into the fence! It might have been an accident, but then again it may have been jealousy. I was looking really good and tearing up the track.

Anyway, I ended up at the vet so they could stitch up my tail and the gash in my side. The doctor promised to do a good job so I'd still have a pretty fur coat and swishy tail.

The day after surgery I was a little bored so I sang to them while they worked on other doggies. Dawn was in a cage not too far away from me. She's a quiet girl, but seemed really nice.

I moved to foster today. Yippee! I'm no longer in a cage, so I can give the peoples doggie kisses whenever I want. Bonus, I can walk up to them and get pets too. I'll be healed soon, so if you have room for a super cute, lovable, loving striped girl greyhound, you should submit an adoption application and list "Ella, the Singing Greyhound" as the one you want!

Ella is not small dog or cat tolerant.
