My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dixie is a sweetheart! She was surrendered to a shelter by her owner who decided he couldn't take her with him when he moved. We think she looks like a Husky/Border Collie mix, but only because of her physical features, personality wise she's pretty laid back and has an average energy level. She loves her snuggle time just as much as her walks. She knows she's cute and tends to show off her prance as she walks through the neighborhood. She's great with kids and other dogs if properly introduced. She has impeccable house manners; doesn't beg for people food or destroy anything, even kid toys she leaves for the kids. Dixie aims to please and you'll find her right next to you waiting for a belly rub. She's not a quick eater and tends to eat when she has company in the kitchen. She is allergic to grain so only grain free dog food for her which she is still getting used to. Overall Dixie is a wonderful loving dog waiting for her forever home.
