Tangerine's Story...
Hi, I'm TANGERINE! (some silly human named me after an orange!) I'm a lovely red tabby and white girl with heartmelting gold eyes. I'm about a year old. My foster mom calls me "Tango"! I'm a real SWEETIE PIE‼ I'm outgoing and easygoing. I'll follow you around the house and talk up a storm to you. I'll want to be close to you, if not up on your lap. I'm cheerful and playful. I get along well with the other cats in my foster home. Why not bring some orange sunshine into your life? Please give me a FUReFUR home‼ If you are interested in meeting or adopting Tangerine, please contact her foster, Shari at 419-754-7001 or sstowell@buckeye-express.com . - See more at: http://www.plannedpethood.org/cats/available.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tangerine, a Toledo Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Toledo, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Toledo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toledo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toledo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toledo paves the way for another one to be saved.
