Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you (and your dog) looking for a friendly, playful friend? Mr. Beaglesworth (aka Mr. B) wants to keep you company. He’s a smallish guy (20 – 21 pounds), but he’s got plenty of energy and affection to share.
Mr. B is happiest when he’s playing with another dog. He may like playing even more than he likes eating! If another dog won’t play with him, he’ll amuse himself with a squeaky toy. He also loves to chase and retrieve toys that his person throws. When he’s worn himself out playing, he enjoys sleeping on the couch with his people and other dogs.
Mr. B shares his foster home with a 9-year-old female beagle and five cats. He plays nicely and shares toys, beds, etc. with the resident beagle. He’s generally respectful of the cats, but he’s very curious about them and will try hard to persuade them to play. He’ll back off if a cat or a human corrects him. He likes to chase and be chased though, so he would do best with a calm, laid-back pet who is unimpressed by Mr. B’s efforts.
Mr. B is housebroken and crate trained. When people are home, he has the run of the house; he goes in his crate when he has to stay home alone. He’s rather quiet for a beagle, but he does have a voice and he will bark for a while if he thinks he’s been left alone.
