Nikon's Story...
HUBBA HUBBA! This boy is glad to be alive and we are glad too! Taken from a Korean meat farm, this boy was spared a destiny of being someone's main course to a destiny filled with love and adoration! Please see our top story on our website for more details on Nikons story. Nikon appears to be an English lab with a stockier body and a meaty head! He is about 2-3 yrs old and weighs about 65lbs. He is beautiful! He is super friendly, crate trained, gets along great with other dogs, cats not so much, and would be good with older respectful children. Nikon loves a game of fetch and would love to be someone's running, hiking, or swimming partner! He would also like to be a family member to a family who would do nothing but adore him and smother him with kisses and hugs! Nikon walks ok on a lead, takes treats well, but could use some additional obedience skills. Nikon is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and is heartworm negative. He is microchipped and kept on frontline and heartgard. If you are interested in this boy, please complete an adoption app and request him on the notes section.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nikon, a Lewisville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lewisville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lewisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lewisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lewisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lewisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
