Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bama – 2 years 10 months old, 4.5 pounds
This is Bama ( pronounced as in “Alabama” ), our latest little bundle of fur. Bama is full Yorkie, a 2-yr-10-mo-old male weighing just 4.5 pounds. Bama was reluctantly surrendered to the Rescue by an owner who is moving to a location where pets are not allowed. Though slightly bashful, he adapted almost instantly to our household and routine - gets along perfectly with our three small dogs, loves to play with toys, and is always anxious for a walk or a romp in the fenced yard. He is very mellow, gentle, loving and well-behaved, leash-trained, crate-trained, and rides perfectly in the car. He will whimper softly if we’re out of his sight for long – he loves to trot along with us wherever we go, indoors or out! Still very much a youngster, Bama should go to a home where he will have plenty of attention and activity. He is not yet completely housebroken – though he’s making rapid, steady progress, he’ll need continued patience and guidance with this. Bama should adapt well to most any household - an individual, couple, or family with children OVER the age of ten. He really needs another small canine companion in the household to buddy-up with, as he was separated from a little female during his surrender. Bama bonds very quickly with his humans, with the other dogs, and loves to snuggle in a lap, on the couch, or in the human bed. With his loving, loyal, silly personality, Bama will win your heart in an instant. Neutered, current on all vaccinations, and, having recently passed a complete health exam, he’s now anxious to find his new “forever” home.
