Meet Wilson, one of the happiest, goofiest little guys we've met. He weighs about 14 pounds and is 7 years young. Wilson came to us after being rescued from a puppy mill in Arkansas where he spent his life in a dirty cage. With a little TLC, Wilson has broken out of his shell and is loving life. He greets every person and animal with a wagging tail and an invitation to scratch his back. He has learned how great it feels to go for long walks, play with toys until he falls asleep right on top of them, and snuggle with his foster mom. Wilson has learned about potty training very quickly and is looking for a forever family who can continue to teach him how wonderful the world can be. He is an active, happy, good-natured boy who is ready to join his new family. Wilson spends a lot of time following his foster sister around and trying to convince her to play with him, so he would love a home with another playmate - no matter what size! He has excellent social skills and is very polite.
Wilson is very healthy, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. His adoption fee is $220.00 plus sales tax of $16.01, for a total of $236.01. His foster parents would like to adopt him to a family who lives within a reasonable distance of the Twin Cities, and also encourage his adopters to attend the annual Shih Tzu Rescue Reunion in September each year.
