Meet sweet Emma, a 13 pound full Shih Tzu female. She is 9 years old, but a bundle of energy who loves to play ball with her foster parents and enjoys lots of squeaky toys. She walks like a lady on a leash, and goes on a couple of long walks each day. Emma is house trained as long is taken outside regularly. She eats twice a day and loves her wholesome chicken treats too. Emma is not a barker, but when she does, she sometimes puts her head back and howls. It is so cute. Emma likes to sleep with her foster parents, but has also learned to sleep in a soft kennel with the door remaining open. Emma would do best as an only beloved dog in a home where someone is home with her most of the day. She would not do well with small children, but older respectful children would be OK.
Emma is spayed, current on vaccinations, micro chipped, had a recent dental cleaning, and is on heartworm/flea and tick preventative. She has the unusual feature of having one blue eye and one brown eye, which makes her a stunning cutie. Two veterinarian exams indicated she has normal eyes and vision, it’s just a rather unusual feature. Affectionate toward both women and men, Emma would be your ideal, loving, loyal pet.
Emma’s adoption fee is $120.00 plus $8.73 for a total of $128.73. Her foster parents would like her adoptive home to be within a reasonable driving distance of the Twin Cities and would like her new family to attend the annual rescue reunion in September each year.
