Alma's Story...
This sweet girl is Alma. She was found abandoned on a dead end street. She was covered in fleas and ticks and had sores for all the bites but she was still giving us kisses and loving us!! She is a wonderful puppy and looks to be a hound mixed possibly with shepherd of some sort. She is currently about 10 weeks old and about 16 pounds but she is way underweight. Her skin is looking better and she is looking more like a healthy happy pup every day. She is very friendly with all humans and other animals. Alma will be up to date on vaccines, wormed several times and spayed before going to her forever home. For more info and an application- email Sandy at vshutchins@gmail.com and thank you for considering one of my rescue doggies!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alma, a Trenton Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Trenton, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Trenton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Trenton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Trenton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Trenton paves the way for another one to be saved.
