Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This lovely little lhasa/shih tzu mix is Tiki, an 8 year old girl that is wondering why she is not in a home anymore, and is hoping to get herself back in a great home real soon. Tiki came to us from our Newark facility when she was surrendered by her owner who said that Tiki was "too much to take care of". Tiki is a bit upset after being uprooted from the only home she has ever known, but she is not holding it against anyone and is making friends with every one that she meets. She is a bit shy, but not at all aggressive. She takes her time while going for a walk, as if she is not very used to walking on a leash, but she is getting the hang of it quickly and enjoys going for walks and meeting new people. Tiki is very well behaved and mannerly. She takes treats very gently and sits perfectly when asked. Tiki just loves to get attention and all it takes is for you to bend down to pet her to get her tail swishing happily back and forth. She loves to be held and made to feel safe and loved. Tiki is calm and quiet, and would love a home without a lot of commotion. She seems to be fine with well behaved dogs and would prefer a home with more mature children. This little sweetheart is hoping to start life over again with a loving family that will cherish her forever. File#25084 7/10/15
