Frank's Story...
Frank is an AKC Pug. His Date of birth is 02/22/2012. He's going on 4. (29 months old). His paperwork was never sent in but we have his mom and dads numbers and if the late fee is paid he could be registered. He's had dental work so he likes soft treats, playing with different kinds of dog toys, sleeping on the back of the couch. He's never been around cats. He doesn't require the company of other dogs. He would be great being an only dog but gets along with most other dogs. Frank is house trained and crate trained. He can sit and shake for a treat. Frank is very smart, but stubborn as a pug.

Frank is heartworm negative, neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and treated withheartworm and flea preventative. His adoption fee is $300.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frank, a Flushing Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Flushing, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Flushing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flushing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flushing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flushing paves the way for another one to be saved.
