Gunther's Story...
Gunther is a nine month old beagle mix. He is a beautiful dog with a unique color and markings. He is sweet, goofy, playful and loves other dogs. He is a little on the clumsy side so it is always fun to play with him and watch him play. His favorite activity is going on walks and exploring in the woods! And his favorite treats are bones. So far he has loved everyone he has met. Gunther knows how to sit and is learning other basic commands. He is crate trained and house trained.

Gunther is currently being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but he is not picky about where he ends up as long as he is loved. He is around 30 lbs, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, heartworm prevention and flea prevention.

Want to meet this handsome, unique guy? Fill out an application online at www.FORrescue.net or email info@FORrescue.net for more information. Thank you!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gunther, a Marietta Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
