Hello, my name is Kota. I'm 1-2 years old and I weigh about 40 lbs.
I was dumped here at the pound in a kennel with my best friend Kona on July 3rd... yeah... big booms, barking dogs here at the pound, new place... needless to say we were absolutely terrified and it took the pound a few days to get us to warm up but I have really warmed up nicely. My friend is still a little more shy.
I'm a real sweet boy! I am pretty calm for the most part and I warm up to strangers pretty easily, especially if they've got treats for me!
I get along well with the other dogs I have met since I have been here at the pound too.

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and my Bordatella vaccine and I have been given 3 days of panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER JULY 6, 2015.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED ON SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS
