Tuffy's Story...
Clem, Izzie & Tuffy are domestic shorthairs. Clem and Izzie are male; Tuffy is female. These three cats came to GGOH after being born on a loading dock and were in harms' way. All are healthy, happy cats! Born in early April 2015, they are now approx. 18 mos. (as of Sept. 2016) and full of life! All are spay/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. Clem and Izzie are best buds and it would be great to see them adopted together. Tuffy is more independent and doesn't have much time for her playful brothers' antics but she gets along well with other cats and we'll often find her cuddled up with one of the older, calmer cats in the room. All three are gems; stop in and meet them, you never know, you might just fall in love.

Tuffy, a New Richmond, American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in New Richmond,, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in New Richmond,.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond, already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond, breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond, paves the way for another one to be saved.
