Update 7/26/15: Carlos has been sick the last couple of days with an upper respiratory tract infection. He's been in quarantine as a result of it, but he's the sweetest boy. He's been feeling a little under the weather naturally, so he hasn't been as outgoing as he was when he first arrived. Shelter staff are working hard to buy him some time to get better because 1) he's responding well to his new medications, and 2) he is just a sweetheart when he's feeling good. But with the shelter at or near capacity, time is running out for this big guy. Please come see him ASAP if you are interested. He was originally an outside neighborhood cat, and he'd probably make a great friendly mouser as well as a wonderful inside lap cat. Right now, he's just a little more lethargic than usual, but once he's feeling better, I'm sure he'll be back to making his biscuits and begging to be petted!

Carlos is a sweet guy who came in via a humane trap. He's extremely affectionate, so much so that as I was petting him on top of his kuranda bed, he had to stretch down to the main level to "make biscuits". His front paws were just kneading away the whole time I was petting him or even close to petting him. He's quite thin so life has obviously not been the easiest for this guy, but he's got a lot of love to give! He also has a wonderfully unique meow. Come meet this sweet boy soon!
