Freya's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Freya's Story...
I was rescued from a feral colony, along with Fritz, Freida, and Frodo (all for adoption on this site) so I could have a great life - and I'm thriving in foster care. I'm very sweet, sociable, playful, and just as cute as I can be! I love running, playing, and wrestling with the other kittens in my foster home and am particularly close to Frodo - he's like my adopted kid brother and would really like it if we could be adopted together. Two kittens are honestly less trouble than one as we have a playmate and snuggle buddy so we're not as likely to get into as much kitten mischief as a single kitten. I'll be getting my first kitten vaccination very soon and will need two more boosters, three to four weeks apart. I'll also need to be spayed and given my rabies vaccination when I'm four to five months old, mid-September to mid-October. I'll fill your heart and home with love and laughter if you'll be my forever human!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freya, a Farmington Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Farmington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Farmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Farmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Farmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Farmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
