Here's what the humans have to say about me:
A recent mother, barely over nursing pups, Sadie arrived at a local shelter on June 9. She was a timid girl at the shelter, but staff could see she would bloom with some much needed TLC. They sent out an appeal for rescue and 10 days later, Sadie was safe in a Dusty Paws foster home.
Something in her history has made Sadie hesitant around men, but her foster mom notes she is building trust with her foster dad now, playing with him and hiding behind him when they meet someone out on a walk.
Sadie is a calm and loving girl, but is also very energetic and requires lots of exercise. She loves playing fetch, taking walks and running around the back yard. She is house trained and smart, listening to commands and learning after some practice. She is estimated to be about 3 years old and she weighs 55 lbs. Sadie is comfortable with the resident cat in her foster home and enjoys the company of other dogs once she gets to know them.
