Theodore's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Theodore's Story...
Theodore and his two brothers, Alvin and Wonka, were all rescued from a high kill shelter in Memphis. They were going to be euthanized when they were only a month old! We couldn't let that happen, and rescued all 3! Now we are looking for homes for Wonka and his brothers!
Theodore is very cuddlly, and he is the runt. Don't let his small size fool you- he doesn't take any crap from his siblings!
No couch potatoes please! If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website to read about the process and fill out an adoption application. www.furkidrescue.org
Adoption fee is $250, with $50 refunded after completion of an approved puppy class, such as Animal Friends, Petco, Keystone Canine Club, Humane Society, etc.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Theodore, a Pittsburgh American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Pittsburgh, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Pittsburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pittsburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pittsburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pittsburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
