for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Elsie's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Elsie's Story...
Elsie is new to the Pen Pals program as of 7/16/2015 and we can't wait to see how this sweet and gentle girl does. So far, she's made friends with the other dogs in the program and met a kitten who she immediately tried to mother. Elsie is a truly sweet and gentle soul.

The adorable Elsie will make a wonderful companion for some lucky family. The ideal pet for a home with other pets. Gentle enough for children, but a perfect choice for singles or empty nesters! At about 5 years and 40 lbs, she's the perfect age and size!

Elsie is receiving obedience training at a Virginia correctional center. To learn more about the Pen Pals program, please visit our website at www.fetchacure.com. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elsie, a Richmond Hound (Unknown Type)/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type)/Dachshund for sale in Richmond, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type)/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type)/Dachshund breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type)/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
